Barney Birthday Party

I am very excited to share my very first party with you guys! I have been wanting to do dessert tables/ candy tables at parties for the longest time now but I had waited for someone special to start off with :)
{Barney Cake}
This is for Jeremiah's second birthday party! This year, his favorite character is Barney the Dinosaur, and so his mother decided to do a Barney themed party. This is a 2 tiered marble cake, filled with vanilla frosting and decorated with purple and green fondant. The barney on top was handmade out of fondant. I tried to replicate Barney's logo with Jeremiah's name in place of Barney.

{Barney Cookies}

{The Candy/ Dessert Table}

I got 5 different Apothecary jars ranging in size from 14"- 19" in height and a large martini glass for the candies.

Candy Buffet: Purple foiled Dark chocolate Hershey's kisses, Dark Green gumballs, Green Colorwheels (Smarties), Purple Sixlets (chocolate coated malted milk balls) , Green Apple Candy Sticks, Sugar cookies, tofee crunch cupcakes, and of course--- CAKE!

The fresh flowers added such a beautiful touch to the display!

{Birthday Banner}
This was my first time making a banner as well- these are SO fun to make!

Hope you like it! This is something I plan on doing more for family and special friends ;)

P.S: The Barney Cake has been featured on http://www.finecraftguild.com/diy-tutorial-stairs/ - Fine Craft Guild

Thank you, I am so honoured :)
